About Liz

I became a lawyer to help people. I created Liz Gupta Law PLLC

so I could do it my way: with genuine warmth, plain language, and zero judgment.

My first legal job was at the Middlesex District Attorney's office, advocating for victims of domestic violence and child abuse. I saw firsthand what happens to families when the law isn't on their side, so I became the person in their corner, someone who listens first and translates legalese into plain English.

I earned my law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, began my career at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, and practiced at firms large and small and as in-house counsel. My experiences taught me that clients deserve high-caliber counsel without the intimidating offices, jargon, or billable-hour anxiety.

Family, in all its forms, is at the heart of my practice because it's at the heart of my life. My spouse and I married in 2022, and we're raising our amazing son along with his older sisters – our cat and dog, who firmly believe they run the household.

That's why I built a practice serving families across Massachusetts and New Hampshire, especially those too often misunderstood or overlooked by traditional law firms. Whatever your family looks like, you won't have to explain or justify it here. You'll just be welcomed.

Outside my practice, I am an avid fan of the Syracuse Orange  (my alma mater) and Boston Legacy women’s soccer, and I am learning to love cricket alongside my spouse. Otherwise, I am at my easel, painting portraits of beloved furry friends (so you can be sure that I take your pet's place in your estate plan very seriously).
